2025 Christmas Celebration MUKA - Nottingham, UK

The Mangalorean United Konkani Association (MUKA), Nottingham, celebrated Christmas 2025 with great joy, faith, and community spirit, bringing together around 120 members for a truly memorable evening.

The event was expertly hosted by Jesvita Menezes & Hailey Fernandes, whose confident and engaging anchoring ensured a smooth flow throughout the programme.

The programme commenced with a prayer service, setting a reflective and spiritual tone for the celebration, followed by a warm welcome address. The evening unfolded with a rich variety of performances that showcased talent across all age groups. From Little Champs group dances to Shining Stars, teens, and adult performances in singing and dance, the stage came alive with energy and festive cheer.

The highlight of the evening was the Nativity Play, beautifully presented with the participation of members across generations. This meaningful portrayal of the Christmas story reminded everyone of the true spirit of the season—faith, humility, and togetherness.

Adding to the excitement were several fun-filled competitions and activities:

• Best Dressed Santa (Ages 0–10):

• All children who participated were rewarded with prizes, ensuring smiles all around.

The evening continued with a Raffle draw and Housie Housie, which was met with enthusiastic participation.

A raffle draw, won by Naveen Lobo, added further excitement to the celebrations.

The programme concluded with a delightful dinner and baila, where members enjoyed delicious authentic Mangalorean cuisine, music, and fellowship. The atmosphere throughout the evening was warm, joyful, and inclusive—truly reflecting the spirit of Christmas.

The 2025 MUKA Christmas Celebration was a wonderful blend of faith, culture, talent, and community bonding, leaving everyone with cherished memories and festive cheer.
